FLAX YELLOW CHALK WASH
Golden texture. A rich cadmium sunseeker. Artisan Flax Yellow Chalk Wash creates a joyously deep shade of sunflower yellow. Apply the wash over rich ochre or umber shades to create a warm burnished finish, or with a lighter shade base, layer up to achieve a deep mustard seed yellow. Wherever you want the sun, apply Flax Yellow Chalk Wash. Complete your scheme with dusty blue accessories and grass green upholstery. This is a fine art shade for bringing out your inner Expressionist.

Best applied over a base coat of Craig & Rose 1829 Chalky Emulsion paint. Choose a contrasting base colour for a bold effect or pair with a similar shade for a more understated look.

Method of Application: There are several different methods of application that can be used to apply Chalk Wash, ensure you have selected and researched your chosen method before beginning your project. Make sure that your base paint colour has dried for at least 4 hours before applying this effect. Apply in blocks of roughly 1sqm at a time.

Please note that it is best not to apply more than one coat as this may lessen the translucent effect of this Chalk Wash effect.
