Polyvine Wood Dyes for interior or exterior use, are intermixable giving a limitless range of possibilities to colour and enrich the wood.

Preparation

All surfaces must be clean and free from dust, dirt, oil and contamination. Remove oils and resins from oily hardwoods and resinous softwoods. Sand to a smooth finish and remove all dust.

Application

Ensure product is well mixed. Pour into a suitable container and mix with other colour if required. Apply generously with a good quality brush, working with the grain and keeping a wet edge. Wipe off any excess quickly to get an even finish.

Different woods and woodgrains will alter the appearance of the wood dye. Apply to a test area prior to application.

Polyvine Wood Dye seals the surface but for added protection apply Polyvine Heavy Duty Wood Varnish, Polyvine Heavy Duty Floor Varnish, dead flat or satin, or Polyvine Exterior Varnish.
