WRX STAIN BLOCK 1L

DESCRIPTION
Solvent-based, high-quality stain block primer sealer based on modified alkyd resin offering a flat matt finish.

USAGE AREA
It can be used on interior and exterior surfaces such as old paints and varnish, cured plaster and cement
based coatings, concrete, brick, iron, steel, aluminium, copper, wood, rigid PVC.

PROPERTIES
It has high hiding formula, seals most stains like nicotine, water-soluble tannin, grafiti, fire, smoke or water
stains. Fast drying. It may be coated with any water based or solvent-based paint.

SURFACE PREPARATION
For best results, all surfaces must be sound, clean, suitably dry and free from anything that will interfere with
the adhesion of the materials to be applied like grease or dust. Remove any loose or flaking material, and
repair damaged areas. On the surface, deep level differences should be treated with repair mortars, and
slight level differences should be treated with wall putty and sanded.

If there is organic growth like mould and algae on the surface, disinfection with biological solutions should be
done after mechanical cleaning.

Chalky, weathered or highly porous surfaces should be treated with a clear surface stabiliser.

Metal surfaces must be cleaned from oil and rust.

Wood surfaces should be sanded in the direction of the grain, cleaned thoroughly, removing all seeping
wood contents, e.g. wood resin and resin galls (resin/pitch pockets) and should be impregnated with wood
preserver.

Before applying primer to stained areas, first try to remove as much of the stain as possible by washing,
sanding, scraping, etc.
