DESCRIPTION
Water based, multi-purpose, ready to use, adhesion-promoting acrylic primer for surfaces that are difficult to
paint.
USAGE AREA
It can be used on interior and exterior surfaces such as old paints and varnish, iron, steel, aluminium,
copper, zinc, galvanized, rigid PVC, glass, ceramics, wood and plaster.
PROPERTIES
It allows the application of top coat paints to different surfaces. It can be used as an adhesion-promoting
primer before the top coat paint on surfaces where old solvent-based paint has been applied. It seals most
stains like graffiti, asphalt, grease, lipstick, smoke, and trap tannins from cedar and redwood in the primer
film to prevent stains from bleeding through the topcoat. It may be coated with any architectural water based
or solvent-based paint. It meets the requirements of EN 71-3 Standard and can be used in the renovation of
children's toys.

SURFACE PREPARATION
For best results, all surfaces must be sound, clean, suitably dry and free from anything that will interfere with
the adhesion of the materials to be applied like grease or dust. Remove any loose or flaking material, and
repair damaged areas. On the surface, deep level differences should be treated with repair mortars, and
slight level differences should be treated with wall putty and sanded.
If there is organic growth like mould and algae on the surface, disinfection with biological solutions should be
done after mechanical cleaning.
Chalking, weathered and porous powdery surfaces should be treated with colourless surface stabiliser.
Metal surfaces must be cleaned from oil and rust.
Wood surfaces should be sanded the in-fibre direction, cleaned thoroughly, remove all seeping wood
contents, e.g. wood resin/rosin and resin galls (resin/pitch pockets), and should be impregnated with wood
preserver.
On plastic or other low-adhesion surfaces, carry out an adhesion test on a small, inconspicuous area before
full application.
Cannot be used on anodised aluminium.
Before priming to stained areas, firstly attempt to remove as much of the stain as possible by washing,
sanding, scraping, etc.
APPLICATION
Stir well before and during use. Suitable for application by brush, medium pile roller or spray.
For optimal results, load the brush or roller generously and apply the paint evenly, avoiding overspreading. In
most cases, one coat is sufficient. Porous surfaces or some stains may require a second coat.
For airless application, Pressure: 100-140 bar, Nozzle size (inch): 0.013”-0.015”.
Thinning: Ready to use. If required, it can be thinned up to 10% with clean water. Note that over thinning the
primer may affect its adhesion properties.
Cleaning: All equipment used can be cleaned with warm water or soapy water. Remove as much paint as
possible from brushes and rollers before cleaning. Do not empty paint into drains or watercourses.
STORAGE
Store and transport in dry conditions in a secure upright position. Protect from direct sunlight, frost and
extreme temperatures.
CONSIDERATIONS
Stir until homogeneous before use.
Thin the amount of paint you will use.
Apply when the air and surface temperature is above +8°C, and the relative humidity is below 80%.
Do not apply in damp or humid conditions, in rainy weather, in extremely windy environments.
After use, replace the lid firmly.
Use the opened product within one month.
Apply all products in accordance with the BS 6150 Code of practice for the painting of buildings.
